OUR AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR Services for San Diego County Drivers

At Lael's International Auto Service, we feel that the most important things you can do to maintain your vehicle are as follows:

  • Change your oil every 3,000 miles
  • Follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule
  • Inspect "wear items" often
  • Perform seasonal maintenance inspections

In addition to scheduled maintenance, it is important that the "wear items" such as tires, belts, and brake pads/shoes are inspected regularly. We always recommend these items be serviced sooner rather than later to prevent breakdowns or costly additional repairs. For instance, if you don’t replace a brake pad, it can wear to its metal backing plate and damage a brake rotor.

Oil Change & Lube Service

Oil Change Service

We offer two types of oil change service. The budget oil change includes up to five quarts of regular motor oil, a new oil filter, and the required labor. We also stock synthetic oils when called for by the manufacturer's specification or by your preference. The oil change service takes about twenty minutes, and we recommend scheduling it with us in advance.

The lube, oil, filter (LOF) maintenance service includes a road test by a certified technician and a preventative maintenance safety inspection, as well as the following: a check–over of all drive belts, hoses, tires, suspension, and steering; the lubrication of all doors, chassis lube points, and hood and trunk hinges; a check of all fluids; an engine oil filter replacement; and the required labor. This service takes about forty-five minutes and is best scheduled with us in advance.
